As you wander the market, follow the intoxicating scent of grilled meat wafting through the air. Ronto Roasters is a favorite stop for crews prepping for their next mission.
Inside, spot the hanging podracer engine heating up a spit of meats. A pitmaster droid turns the mechanical spit, grilling a large side of ronto—a massive beast native to the planet Tatooine.

Thank you so much for this yummy recipe!! I did it exactly as you say and they were gone in 60 seconds lol. I hope you can recreate all the best Galaxy edge recipes because I wish I could go too!! 😂🤣😂🤣

Glad you love them! They are a favorite around here too!

My son and I stumbled on Ronto Wraps at Galaxies Edge and LOVED them! Found your recipe online after we got home wishing we could have another one. Thanks! So good and so easy. My son said they were perfect. Just like he remembered.

That just made my day!! Thanks for the comment!

What brand of sausages did you use? There’s so much variety in terms of taste when it comes to sausages. If your son said it tasted the same, then you picked the right ones and I would very much like to know which ones I should get.
Ashley Craft | 14th Oct 19
Hello! The ones we used are from Bar S and are available at the grocery store!
Pat | 10th Nov 19
Can you be more specific, like what type of pork sausage for those of us that don’t get Bar S brand of sausage ? thanks!
Ashley Craft | 10th Nov 19
Sure! I wasn’t specific because it doesn’t really matter. You can get something cheap from the grocery store, or get nice ones from a butcher. I used these regular pork sausages for mine, but I’ve also made them with beef links! Whatever your family likes!

I returned to your planet, Ashley Craft, to once again retrieve the secrets of the wrap. I discovered word of an Oracle in the form of writings revealing 99 more secrets. 100 in total. My quest for it led me to A great market where I bartered for it. It’s traveling to me now through hyperspace aboard a United Brown Box freighter. I am enlightened, and soon… my belly will boil with pretzels!
Ashley Craft | 6th Jan 21
Greg! I am very pleased that you have discovered my other writings and have made steps to obtain them. Hoping the freighter has no trouble locating your starship and that you can have those pretzels with Blue Milk ASAP. May the force be with you Greg!

Sorry for the late response, Angelina… I’ve used a few different kinds, but I personally think Portuguese Linguica is closest to what they serve at the park. I cook them on the patio grill, then slice them in half, and then quarter them lengthwise . I’ve also moved from Pita bread to Naan bread. Naan is a bit thinner and smaller making it just a little easier to handle.

I took these to our friends Christmas party. They lasted 5 minutes. Great recipe!

That makes me so happy to hear! Thanks for taking the time to tell me that. Merry Christmas on whatever planet you are on :).

On our last Disney trip we sadly missed the Ronto Wraps. The day just got too busy. So when we came home I looked up a recipe to make them. We have enjoyed this recipe twice. Second time I halved the peppercorn sauce. Because it just made way too much. I loved the sauce (ate it for lunch with some crackers one day), but it’s just more than we needed.

Glad you love it! And good tip about the sauce — it does make a lot! Glad you found a yummy way to use it up!

I am trying to figure out the Ronto-less wrap recipe. Can you help with this? I tried both wraps when we were there and I thought the Ronto-less wrap was the best.
Ashley Craft | 18th Mar 20
So the menu description is: plant based sausage, spicy kimchi slaw, sweet pickled cucumber, gochujang spread, wrapped in pita. I would buy impossible meat and you can probably find already made kimchi slaw and sweet pickled cucumbers at a local Asian grocery store. Gochujang spread would also be sold in a bottle in an Asian store. I haven’t personally tried the Ronto-less wrap but it sure sounds delicious! Good luck making it at home

Found this recipe and tried it this week. WoW! Thank you for creating this. It was so much fun to put together and it was so tasty. If we want to go to Disney without leaving, we know we can make this and be transported. Thanks, Ashley

Thanks Jon! I hope you’ll check out my book if you’re looking for more recipes!
