Make-at-Home Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait

Have you been to the new Pixar Pier at Disney’s California Adventure Park?  If so, you’ve probably tasted (or at least drooled at) all the delicious new snacks they are serving there.

Since we were only on the Pier for like 20 minutes, I only got to sample one snack — but this one was at the very top of my list.  It is sold at the Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats and is right next to The Incredicoaster. It is called The Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait!! Here is why this is a winner of a treat:

  1. Frozen!!

    1. On a hot day, this is the most refreshing thing you could possibly eat.

  2. Blend of unique flavors

    1. Not sure if you’d ever considered mixing lemon soft-serve with blue raspberry slush, but it’s an amazing combination.  The sweet and tart go together perfectly.

  3. Cherry on top

    1. Literally!  What is cuter than that?

  4. Gluten Free and Dairy Free!

    1. Just like the iconic original Dole Whip, this is made with no dairy and no gluten at all! What a great way to treat your gut right.  Especially after all the Beignets…and Churros…and…..(nom nom nom)

  5. Instagrammable

    1. Is it all about the ‘gram for you?  Standing in front of one of the fantastic Pixar billboards with this in hand will get likes for sure!

There is an easy way to make this at home: buy these three ingredients and assemble!

I used this Lemon Sorbet in mine, but it was honestly too tart.  I recommend using the Dole Lemon Whip mix. You can get it on Amazon Here. (the link might say “strawberry” mix, but just change the flavor option to Lemon)

For the Blue Slush, I found these Icee Brand tubes at my local WinCo.  You may be able to find them at any grocery store, or you could stop by 7-11 for some.  Also These Pouches would work perfectly!

Add a maraschino cherry (with stem!) on top, and you’ve got the delicious taste of Disneyland at home!

Here are some pics of my daughter clearly not enjoying this at all.

The Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait sells for $5.99.  Grab one next time you visit the Parks! Or make one at home to enjoy!
